6 Practices to Making Your Own Luck

1. Be observant. When you are observant you notice things that will help you or harm you. Pay attention to your surroundings and your luck will improve.  Look for money on the ground.  Read the newspaper and pay attention.

2. Be outgoing. Talk with people, make new friends and acquaintances. This will open up new opportunities.  The more opportunities you can make for yourself, the more luck you will have.

3. Expect good fortune. If you expect good things to happen to you then they will.  Your mind will always lead you to a self-fulfilling prophecy, expect good luck or bad and you are on your way.

4. Listen to your intuition. If your gut tells you something listen to it and act accordingly.  Sometimes you will have a feeling to do or not something.  You need to listen to this feeling it is your intuition talking.

5. Act on opportunity. When an opportunity is available you need to take advantage of your situation and don’t let it pass you by.  Many times luck is just waiting for someone to take it.  Don't let luck pass you by.

6. Do not dwell on misfortune. Stay positive and be ready to act at the next opportunity.
